Vols Lose 3-2 Heartbreaker in Game 2

Texas AM One Win Away from Title

OMAHA, Neb. - The No. 3 Texas AM baseball team is headed to the College World Series championship series for the first time in program history after defeating No. 2 Tennessee 3-2 in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Texas AM secured the victory with a combination of early runs, stout pitching, and late defensive heroics. After a scoreless first inning, Texas AM took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second on an RBI single by Bryce Blaum.

The Aggies extended their lead in the top of the seventh inning on a two-run homer from Kaeden Kent. Tennessee answered back with a run in the bottom of the seventh, but Texas AM held on for the victory.
